What is Yeshiva Outdoors?

Imagine canoeing through secluded lakes, backpacking in mountain ranges as old as time, or snowshoeing through pristine frozen landscapes. Each morning, as the sun rises, you greet it with prayers taught generation to generation for more than a thousand years, and in the quiet solace of the wilderness you meditate on ancient wisdom.

This is an adventure with Yeshiva Outdoors. From students to seniors, boards to b’nei mitzvah, our goal is to lead participants into the wilderness of Nature and the Soul, to gain deeper knowledge and experience in their own spiritual landscape. The days are spent overcoming physical, intellectual, and spiritual challenges as we hike trails or paddle waters, eat and pray together, and learn from classic Jewish texts such as the Hebrew Bible, the Talmud, the Zohar, and the Hasidic Masters.
